Instrument 01

Translator

For the message that landed sideways.

Paste the message that's sitting heavy. Navoura gives you one calm observation of what's actually happening — and one honest reply you could send. Not strategy. Not manipulation. Clarity when the tone is unreadable.

About this instrument

What it is.

The Translator is the instrument you reach for in the moment. A text from your partner that you've read four times. A Slack from a cofounder you can't tell is annoyed or just tired. A voice note in a language you don't fully read. Paste the text, tap once, get a calm read in seconds.

In practice

How it shows up.

An example: a late-night text from your partner

What they sent

"I'm just tired, I can't do this tonight."

What Navoura noticed

Worth reading literally first: tonight is the specific word, not this. "Can't" tends to show up when someone has hit a bandwidth limit, not when they're done with the conversation. The shape of this message is exhaustion, not retreat.

A reply you could send

Got it. Rest. We'll find time tomorrow.

An example: a message in Spanish from a long-distance partner

What they sent

"Dame un momento, amor. Mañana hablamos. Estoy agotada."

What Navoura noticed

In most Latin American Spanish, "mañana" reads neutral — closer to "let me get through tonight" than dismissal. The warmth in "amor" is doing real work; this isn't distance, it's a request for room. The exhaustion is the message.

A reply you could send

Take your time, amor. I'm here when you're ready. Sleep well.

An example: a terse Slack from your cofounder

What they sent

"We need to talk about the roadmap. Tomorrow morning."

What Navoura noticed

Short messages from someone you work closely with often read sharper than they're meant to — "need to talk" is operator vocabulary, not a verdict. The fact that they specified "morning" (not "now") signals patience, not alarm. Worth noticing what isn't in the message: no negative adjectives, no blame.

A reply you could send

Coming. Anything specific you want me to prep?
